Tax Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform review and tax preparation of Federal and State income tax returns
- Tax planning and projections
- Assist staff with technical questions and development
- Ensure quality standards are maintained
- Manage and mentor members of tax team to greater levels of effectiveness and engagement
- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement in tax procedures
- Assist with Firm Initiatives as necessary
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 7+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting, Certified Public Accountant, strong computer skills-CCH Axcess and Thomson Reuters, strong organizational and planning skills, and positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively.
