The University of Nebraska is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor.

Senior Internal Auditor

This position is responsible for supporting and executing projects in the University-wide internal audit plan: planning through fieldwork, including creating individualized audit programs for university activities, developing recommendations to improve university policies and processes, and meeting with university management to discuss such recommendations. This role requires more versatility than public accounting, as projects cover areas besides financial auditing such as compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree that includes at least 24 semester hours of Accounting or Auditing coursework
• 3 years of internal or external audit experience
• Certification, or stated intent to obtain, relevant certification(s) (CPA, CIA, CISA, CGFM, CFE)

A successful candidate can request to be located on any of the four University campuses.
