Overview

The course provides a concise overview of more than 200 data visualization tools which can be used by accountants to enhance the visual appeal of their financial work. All resources are easy-to-use web-based applications that require virtually no artistic or design skill - simply drag and drop, point and click, cut and paste, and/or edit text. You’ll discover how to create new image content in a snap to better inform, persuade, and inspire action. Participants will walk away with a whole new creative toolkit and skillset that cuts through data clutter, improves analysis and sharpens decision-making.     • Distinguish at least 6 Microsoft Office visual app plug-ins that can be used to create dynamic dashboards and charts in Excel
    • Indicate at least 4 broadcasting platforms that can be used to deliver live streams, meetings, and video presentations for free
    • Recognize at least 6 infographic template services that allow practitioners to create an easy-to-understand overview of a topic using a collection of imagery, charts and minimal text
    • Recall at least 4 online charting apps that instantly create different types of charts including column, bar, line, area, gauge, and other visuals.
