Training & Education. To support members’ professional growth, the Society provides approximately 100 courses each year. These courses and conferences encompass the various needs of CPAs in public practice, industry, education, and government. Society members pay lower, discounted fees to attend Society CPE courses. News & Information. Members receive a bi-monthly journal that provides the latest news and information about Nebraska Society and professional activities, technical articles, and news about fellow Nebraska CPAs. It’s also an opportunity to advertise your employment opportunities at a very low rate and reach more than 2,600 CPAs.

Networking. Despite the ever-increasing use of technology, face-to-face interaction is not yet extinct, thanks to your Society. While we’re strong advocates of technological advancement, the Society serves as your primary link to colleagues, allowing you to put names with faces, keeping you in touch with who's doing what, and helping you develop your leadership skills.

Scholarships for Future CPAs. In 2019-2020, the Society's Foundation provided $127,800 in scholarships to 72 students at 14 Nebraska colleges and universities to encourage future accountants to join the CPA profession.

Advocacy. Gain a say in what happens in government through the Society. The Society advocates for a legislative and regulatory environment that supports our member CPAs. Our registered lobbyists keep in constant touch with state legislators, the Nebraska congressional delegation, and regulatory agencies concerning legislation and policies affecting the profession and business in general.
