We are GROWING and are ready to add an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Controller to our accounting team! The right person will have a general knowledge of accounting principles, a knowledge of how to work with databases & ERPs and a desire to use this knowledge to propel our business forward. Some duties and responsibilities include:

• Ability to generate, read, interpret and take action as it relates to financial statements, national and state regulations and organizational policies & procedures
• Maintain general ledgers in including payroll posting, accruals, expenses, reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, depreciation, and sales and sales and use taxes
• Oversee month end closing, conduct audits, develop and maintain budgets and ensure regulatory compliance
• Works with senior management to conduct risk analysis
• Management of the accounting department, including overseeing staff

Skills & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years relevant experience in a previous role.
• MBA/CPA/CMA/CSCA preferred
• A knowledge of office technology and the ability to navigate ERPs, databases and Excel to extract needed data and present it in an understandable form.
• Decision making skills and the ability to problem solve and implement process improvements.
• Leadership skills to not only work with the accounting team, but across all levels of the company.
