NESCPA Foundation Scholarships

Two Scholarship Awards

These scholarship recommendation are due by April 1:

Fifth-Year Scholarship awards are to be presented to accounting majors who have completed their junior year and are enrolled in a fifth-year (150-hour) program at a Nebraska college or university; accounting students who plan to sit for the CPA exam; accounting students who have the interest and capabilities of becoming a successful accountant and who are considering an accounting career in Nebraska. When candidates are reviewed, scholarship, personality, leadership and character should be considered by the accounting instructional staff at each college or university. The recipients need not necessarily have the highest scholastic average.

Nominations for scholarship recipients are to be made by the Accounting Department faculty members and approved by an Accounting Department Committee (or equivalent). If ratification by the Dean of the college is required, the awardee must come from the nominations of the Accounting Department.
